Bacon is good!

BLT's are the greatest.
Amen.
So today we went to the play, The Importance of being Earnest. This play has sentimental value to me and most of my friends. lol I'm pretty sure we would all agree its our favorite play of all time. And we were introduced to it at Trinity, which is also sentimental but thats a different story. :p We have read it every year for...3 years (correct me if im wrong) and we plan to read it again at the end of this semester. Yes all, we are home schooled. What did you expect?!
Anyway, I thought I would post some of my favorite quotes from this play for y'all.
Algernon: My dear boy, I love hearing my relations abused. It is the only thing that makes me put up with them at all. Relations are simply a tedious pack of people, who havn't got the remotest knowledge of how to live, nor the smallest instinct of when to die.
-All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That's his.
- Women only do that (call each other sister) when they have called each other a lot of other things first.
And my all time favorite ever is by Lane: "Yes sir"
:)
There are others i know i missed but cant think at the moment. And while im quoting favorite quotes, here are some more from various books and people that I like.
"Girls are so queer you never know what they mean. They say no when they mean yes and drive a man out of his wits just for the fun of it." -Little Women (Teddy)
"It will be as if i never existed" -Edward Cullen
"I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul." Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights)
"Life really is to have fun and laugh a lot. If we're not enjoying our life, something isn't right. Forget your adverse circumstances. God is greater than what's going on around you. Lean on Him. You will make it though. -Shaun Alexander
Again, there are more but I still have homework to do people! :p
What are some of your favorite quotes???
Love you guys!
Jess
