Funny!

I saw these on another blog, some of them are really funny!

"Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines."

"Save the whales! Collect the whole set!"

"Light travels faster than sound, which is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak."

"Change is inevitable, except from vending machines."

"A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory."

"I used to have an open mind, but my brains kept falling out."

"If you think nobody cares, try missing a few payments."

"When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane."

"Honk if you love peace and quiet."

"Everyone has photographic memory. Some just don't have film."

Four Leaf Clover

This picture has nothing to do with the post, I just felt like putting it up. lol

So who's goin' 2 Poetry night? What poem R U gonna' read? I can't read mine, because I have a cold, and so my voice is gone. But don't worry, I'll still B there to look pretty. lol

Oh, 4 those of U who have no idea of what I'm talking about, Poetry night is where all the kids from my school, read poems. Sounds boring, but it's not. Some of the kids write their own poems. We have a contest each year, where we all enter our own poems. It's fun.

I didn't do a very good job of explaining it, but I'm tired and don't really feel like going into much D-tail (and yes, I spelled it that way on purpose. lol)

Today I babysat, and played B-ball at the park with the H's. It's starting to get hot outside!!!

Have you ever been to Kauai, Hawaii? There is this AWSOME restaurant there called "Brenneke's." I do not lie, they have the BEST French fries in the entire universe!!!!! If any of you people ever go to Kauai, you have to go to this restaurant. Don't even order a meal, just get fries..... And ketchup. I'm serious, I haven't had better fries since we went there.

Kauai No Ka Oi!!! ( Kauai is the best)

Deer

I saw a deer yesterday. He was really pretty. He was eating grass by the side of the road.

I think two of the most scary things that could happen to someone, would be (1) Getting stranded in the Forrest at night. And (2) falling over board on a ship at night ( or in the morning, but especially at night). Because, it is sooooooo dark!! I was thinking about that last night as we were driving back from town, because it is was really dark outside.
Well, you know two of my biggest fears, and that I saw a deer. Happy?

LOL

(Again, sorry about the short, boring post)

???

Our Cabin is far back into the woods, but we can go into town, which is what we did yesterday. We went to the mall ( I know, we come up to the woods, and we go to the mall!)LOL. I got two shirts, if anyone was wondering (A green one and a black one). I tried on a billion different shirts, but none of them fit. They were all either to expensive, or they were to short, or they were to long, or they were to tight, or they were to baggy, or they were to see-through. Ya know, the usual. But I'm sure no one really cares about my problems at the mall, so I won't talk, or write about it anymore. LOL
I really don't have anything else to write, sorry. I'm very boring today. What did ya'll do today?

Another thing: My phone doesn't get servise up here, but it does work when we go into town.

Well, that was like the most lame post I have ever written. Sorry!

The Big Swing

Today after school we drove up to our Cabin in Walker, Arizona, only about an hour and 45 minutes from our house. We got here at 6:00, so it was too dark to do anything outside. My grandma and grandpa own the cabin. There is a swing, up the mountain a little ways, that we love to play on! We all call it the "Big Swing" ( I know what your thinking," What an original name!") We go crazy on it. It's not a small swing, three.......Or four, depending on how crazy we get, can fit on the swing. It's really fun. When we come up here with friends, two kids usually push the swing, while the rest are on it. We can't get it that high, even with two people pushing, because it's so heavy, but if we are lucky, the dad's will come and push us, and then it's really fun! Sometimes, my friends and I will torment our younger siblings by making it go crooked, and running it into the two trees, which is actually really scary because it hits hard, but it's too tempting to not do it at least one time to them. lololol But then when we get on, we have to threaten to call the parents, if they make us go crooked. lol My brother and his friends also think it's fun to make us go high, and then throw pine-cones at us. ( We haven't quite figured out the fun in this game, but they think it's a blast.) Every once in a while, the person(s) who are pushing, get hit with the swing, it hurts, but for those on the swing it's hilarious! We also play a game where we all start out pushing and then one at a time jump on. Either from the back, or we go around to the front and have to time ourselves just right, or we get hit. lol You may be wondering why we find the swing so fun, but I guess you have to be there. :o)

Nothin' Much

Hey Ya'll! What's up? I didn't do much today. School. And.....PIANO......... I like piano, I just don't like practicing. I love being able to sit down and play. But I don't really like going to lessons and practicing. I also get nervous playing in front of people. I played at our church's Advent service, and I was shaking for at least an hour before, and after. But I was also nervous because my friends and I did a song in sign language, which is really fun, but also kind of embarrassing. Some of the boys think it's fun to call us the "Happy Hands club", ya know, from Napoleon Dynamite. Not fun! Especially when you have to do it in front of them and everyone else in your church. LOL
Back to piano.........uugghhh, never mind. LOL
Did anyone do anything for V-day? We went to macaroni grill for dinna', but that's it because my dad had to work ( he's a fireman, along with being a principal, and a bunch of other things. LOL)
See ya'll!

4 Q's (actually six, but oh well...)

Over the summer, my friends and I did what we called the 4 Q's. Each friend had a day of the week that they emailed everyone four questions. It was really fun! It was at least one guaranteed email a day over the summer. I am gonna' go through some of the old Q's and ask ya'll a few.

1.What is your favorite Ice-cream flavor?
2. What is your least favorite food?
3. Where is a place you would love to go on vacation to?
4. Pick one: Water park or a Theme park?
5. Do you like Roller coasters?
6. Pick one: Skiing/Snowboarding or surfing? Do you know how to Ski, Snowboard, or Surf?

Happy Valentine's day!!!

Finally, a new post!

Yesterday I babysat ( not for the family of 8, another family). It was fun. I love the kids, they are sooooooo cute! M. slept most of the time, but J. stayed awake and played. He is so sweet! He is very snuggly too, he gives the best hugs of any little kid I know!!!
After babysitting, my brother and I got recruited to pulling weeds in the front yard. I'm not much of a weed pulling person, but oh well. lol

We went to two basketball games, a JV game, and a Varsity game, they were both really good! Our team won. It isn't really "Our team" as in my school's team, but it is where two of my best friends play basketball at. Their season is almost over though :o( But I can't wait until football season starts for them ( or him, because my other friend is finishing his senior year in High school). I love watching them play football, they are the two who got me into football, and now it's my favorite sport ( To watch and play with friends, not on a team or anything.)

Today I had to wake up at 7:15! On a Saturday! It was awful. I had to take my brother to b-ball prac, but my mom ended up driving him, and she and I went to a friend's yardsale.
I went to the mall, but didn't get anything.

This is kind of off subject, but what is your favorite drink to get at Starbucks?

The Game

Who was happy about the super bowl? I was. Neither team was my favorite, but I think I like Steelers better than Seahawks. My favorite team is the New England Patriots!!
Did anyone see Larry Csonka last night on TV? They showed him right before the game came on, along with a bunch of other hot-shots that I had never heard of before. Csonka is, or was my dad's favorite football player. He played for the Miami Dolphins and they won the super bowl in 1972. " He is the greatest fullback that ever played the game!" (According to my dad). Csonka and Presley are my dad's heroes! lol He knows almost every Elvis song.
Are there any Cash fans in the house? Who saw "Walk the Line" with Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon? I loved it!
Sorry ya'll, that's all I have for tonight, I have to go study for a Logic and Grammar test.

Cute kids, and my stupid 10 seconds

School was good. Nothing too exciting.

An hour after I got home from school, I went and babysat again ( for the family with the nine kids). I only had four of the kids this time though, because the other five went to see The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe.
And, no, I didn't have to make PB&J again. lol I made ham sandwiches, which were much easier. lol

A lot of times, the four year old girl asks me to French Braid her hair, so tonight I offered to. She was in a swing, which faces their arcadia door ( The kind that is tinted, and you can see your reflection in it). She looked at me and said " Ummm.... No, I think I'll just keep my hair the way it is." And looking at her reflection in the arcadia door, she finished with " It looks so beautiful right now anyways." I couldn't help laughing! I told her that it looked gorgeous, and continued to push her in the swing. It was so cute!

I also had one of my stupid moments, or actually ten seconds of a stupid moment ( yes, it was only 10, I know what you are all thinking lol). I put a plastic plate in the microwave, only for ten seconds, but that was enough to cause the plate to crack down the middle, top and bottom. As I pulled it out of the microwave and examined the damage, the five year old girl, said " Oh ya, we aren't supposed to put those in the microwave." I said " Oh thanks, I figured that out though." The next oldest boy looked at me and said " It says it at the bottom." I laughed, thanked them for reminding me, and apologized for not reading the bottom of the plate.

They are so cute!

Ketchup

I found this picture on the net, and I couldn't agree with the instructions on the bottle more! I LOVE Ketchup!!! I put it on everything. Hamburgers, Chicken, Hotdogs, French fries, Hashbrowns, even Steak! But not eggs, I don't really care for eggs, and I haven't tried it. But I'm sure it's better than plain eggs. lol When I was little, my mom would frequently make my brother and I eat Salmon.
We hated Salmon!!!! So, to get rid of the taste, I put Ketchup on it. Now, that's how I always eat my Salmon, and really any fish, if I'm made to eat it. lol

For Christmas, my brother got me a bottle of Ketchup. It was really funny!

I find Mustard and Pickles really Nasty. ( Sorry to those who like them.........Sarah) lol
