So today we went to the play, The Importance of being Earnest. This play has sentimental value to me and most of my friends. lol I'm pretty sure we would all agree its our favorite play of all time. And we were introduced to it at Trinity, which is also sentimental but thats a different story. :p We have read it every year for...3 years (correct me if im wrong) and we plan to read it again at the end of this semester. Yes all, we are home schooled. What did you expect?!
Anyway, I thought I would post some of my favorite quotes from this play for y'all.
Algernon: My dear boy, I love hearing my relations abused. It is the only thing that makes me put up with them at all. Relations are simply a tedious pack of people, who havn't got the remotest knowledge of how to live, nor the smallest instinct of when to die.

Heheh, well here I am like I promised! (yeah you don't have ta pat me on the head if ya don't want to) Anyways, good post Jess! I like most of the quotes... cept for...the one about.... girls...>.< (cuz it's true) lol!
Oh yeah! And bacon IS good! We had some for breakfast today! Mmm! (Jealous?:)
Oh and with that montage thingy today, since i wasn't wearing my glasses, I couldn't see how b...uhh good you looked...cuz im sure that you wanted no one to toss themselves over a cliff wishing they had your good looks ^_^!! (whew)

Also, my ernset quote is supposed to have the word "eat" in it somewhere...
omg...i love that one!!! "No matter what happens, even if you become the worlds enemy. I'll be your knight" wow i love that one. lol And i remembered another one u told me "Never rest on your Laurels" thats another fav. :p
And yeah...there's been way to many men jumping off cliffs for me. I can barely handle all the attention. psh. lol
oh i just mean ur music with the women singing, its all softish. lol
No Jess, it's a perfect blend of the beauty of a female on vocals accompanied by orchestral instruments (or just a guy on the keyboard that does all that) and the gut-wrenching touch of metal or rock. It's bands like these that show that the singer isn't everything, though she does add a lot. (and oftentimes you will hear a guy on vocals as well, so *points finger in Jess' face*)
