Cute kids, and my stupid 10 seconds

School was good. Nothing too exciting.

An hour after I got home from school, I went and babysat again ( for the family with the nine kids). I only had four of the kids this time though, because the other five went to see The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe.
And, no, I didn't have to make PB&J again. lol I made ham sandwiches, which were much easier. lol

A lot of times, the four year old girl asks me to French Braid her hair, so tonight I offered to. She was in a swing, which faces their arcadia door ( The kind that is tinted, and you can see your reflection in it). She looked at me and said " Ummm.... No, I think I'll just keep my hair the way it is." And looking at her reflection in the arcadia door, she finished with " It looks so beautiful right now anyways." I couldn't help laughing! I told her that it looked gorgeous, and continued to push her in the swing. It was so cute!

I also had one of my stupid moments, or actually ten seconds of a stupid moment ( yes, it was only 10, I know what you are all thinking lol). I put a plastic plate in the microwave, only for ten seconds, but that was enough to cause the plate to crack down the middle, top and bottom. As I pulled it out of the microwave and examined the damage, the five year old girl, said " Oh ya, we aren't supposed to put those in the microwave." I said " Oh thanks, I figured that out though." The next oldest boy looked at me and said " It says it at the bottom." I laughed, thanked them for reminding me, and apologized for not reading the bottom of the plate.

They are so cute!

Ya, they were really shy! It was so funny.

That sounds like our popcorn incident! We popped popcorn (we were being babysat, so our parents weren't home) and the microwave blew up!
Everyone has stupid times I guess, but it's not much fun when the joke's on you!

Sounds like you had a fun time! You know, babysitting gets a whole lot easier after you've worked with a family for awhile. (and when you've already made every mistake you can possibly make...)

I asked my babysitters to do my hair a lot when I was young. :)
