The Big Swing

Today after school we drove up to our Cabin in Walker, Arizona, only about an hour and 45 minutes from our house. We got here at 6:00, so it was too dark to do anything outside. My grandma and grandpa own the cabin. There is a swing, up the mountain a little ways, that we love to play on! We all call it the "Big Swing" ( I know what your thinking," What an original name!") We go crazy on it. It's not a small swing, three.......Or four, depending on how crazy we get, can fit on the swing. It's really fun. When we come up here with friends, two kids usually push the swing, while the rest are on it. We can't get it that high, even with two people pushing, because it's so heavy, but if we are lucky, the dad's will come and push us, and then it's really fun! Sometimes, my friends and I will torment our younger siblings by making it go crooked, and running it into the two trees, which is actually really scary because it hits hard, but it's too tempting to not do it at least one time to them. lololol But then when we get on, we have to threaten to call the parents, if they make us go crooked. lol My brother and his friends also think it's fun to make us go high, and then throw pine-cones at us. ( We haven't quite figured out the fun in this game, but they think it's a blast.) Every once in a while, the person(s) who are pushing, get hit with the swing, it hurts, but for those on the swing it's hilarious! We also play a game where we all start out pushing and then one at a time jump on. Either from the back, or we go around to the front and have to time ourselves just right, or we get hit. lol You may be wondering why we find the swing so fun, but I guess you have to be there. :o)

Hey Jessith, I've had odd incidents on that swing too. Remember when you and Jessi were pushing in a twisty way and it hit the tree and me, greg, and Josh all flew off. Even though it hurt that was sooooooooo much fun. I love that ol' swing!

I love that swing, but the last time we were up there Jess and I couldn't go on it a lot because there was a bear running loose!!! that was kind of scary! That time when we pushed Greg,Lauren, and Josh off the swing was soooo hilarious!!! Have fun at the cabin!

Oh good idea Mrs. Walworth! I'll have to get it tomorrow though, because it's too dark right now.

I agree Jess and Loz, that was sooooo funny! I can still see every one flying off, laying on the ground, and then everyone started cracking up! lolol

It was really weird too, cause I remember like laying on the ground and watching Josh fall in slow motion, it was the weirdest thing!

Ok, we are at our cabin in Prescott. There is a big swing up here that all us kids ( J. and I, and any friends that come up with us) love to play on. One time The Gilliams were here with us, and Jessi and I were pushin J., G., and Loz, on the swing, but we were making them go crooked. They hit the tree, and they all flew off. It was really funny!

(and by the way, you did leave a comment. lolololol)

Jess,
Since were all sharing memories of the swing I'll share one. Well, we always try and figure out any way to swing on that thing. Backwards and everything. So remember when we push it really high with no one on it and stand in the back and then while its going really high we jump on backwards. I love that. Bye.

The Bible says not to lie. Plus, you kind of had to be there, because it doesn't really seem humorouse unless you are actually watching your younger brother fly through the air into a bush. Except, you have probably seen that happen to one of your brothers before, so.....

lol

I agree Jessie, that swing is incredible! Except whenever we actually go up there and we would bring the walkie-talkies, we kept having to find Abby and Josh, or figure out it someone was calling on it or something equally exciting (LOL) that we never got a chance to swing on it for long!
